Cultural Arts REVAMP!
The PTO would like to give a huge thank you to Maryjane Bates for taking the Cultural Arts program under her wing and giving it the update it so desperately needed! It looks amazing, and we encourage everyone to take look.
The new Cultural Arts Program website is live! It features grade-specific pages with artist/artwork information, presentation slides and suggested art projects to support classroom activities.
As of January 2025, the program is being revamped for the first time in 12 years, offering a fresh and engaging experience for our kids!
Expanded Perspectives: Highlighting a wider variety of art movements and cultures.
New Theme: “Beyond the Canvas”—including sculpture, murals, and 3D art.
Fresh Artists: Introducing new classic and contemporary artists.
More Engaging Presentations: Updating materials to be more interactive and fun.
Creative Art Projects: Providing new suggestions to inspire creativity.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Cultural Arts Program Chair, Maryjane Bates (batesmaryjane@gmail.com).
