Carolyn Crimi is coming to Central!
The PTO is thrilled to announce that renowned children's author, Carolyn Crimi, is visiting Central on Tuesday, February 21!
Each grade will meet Carolyn Crimi in a session she promises will not be “quiet” or “calm!” Instead, Crimi inspires young readers and authors by going on a “Story Hunt,” talking about the journey to an idea, and even asking some teachers to “walk the plank.” (Many of her books feature the exciting adventures of pirates!)
Carolyn Crimi lives in Evanston and is the author of 19 beloved children's books, including Weird Little Robots, Secondhand Dogs, Don’t Need Friends, Henry and the Buccaneer Bunnies, Where’s My Mummy?, There Might Be Lobsters, and I Am The Boss of This Chair. Learn more at carolyncrimi.com.
You can purchase a copy of one of Carolyn Crimi’s books for her to sign during her visit! Shop local at The Book Table in Oak Park.* (Orders must be placed by 2/13/23.)
Get ready and excited for this wonderful opportunity to meet a well-known author at our very own Central Elementary!
* The PTO will pickup the bulk order, so please select curbside/in store-pickup and specify this in the comments.
