Fun Filled February!
Book Club, Auction, BuckleDown Night and Flying High
Central's Roadrunner Book Club is a fun and engaging way to get kids in first through fifth grade excited about reading! Students are divided by grade level and each group is run by a parent volunteer. Students will each be given a copy of the book(s) to borrow during the program. Our book club will run from
March 3, 2025 through May 2, 2025 (no meeting during spring break).
The clubs meet once a week after school from 3 pm to 3:45 pm. The days that each grade level will meet are as follows:
1st Grade- Wednesday
2nd Grade-Thursday
4th Grade- Wednesday
5th Grade- Monday
**Please note, due to the lack of a parent volunteer, there will be no 3rd grade book club. If your child is interested, please fill out the Google form by Feb, 5, 2025. SIGN UP HERE !

Join us at BuckleDown Brewing on Friday, February 28th starting at 7PM. BuckleDown is generously donating a % of sales this evening to Central's PTO!
Besides a full list of amazing beers, BuckleDown also has a variety of drink options available! Wine, Hard Seltzer, Cider, Crafted Beer Cocktails, N/A Beer, N/A Drinks and a NEW THC Drink!
There is something for everyone, plus plenty of extra parking across the street. All 21+ are welcome, hope you can join us!
Come support D96 Schools (Ames, Blythe, Central and Hollywood) by dropping your kids ages 5 & up at Flying High for 3 hours of supervised fun. The fun includes our 60 ft. inflatable obstacle course, trampolines, foam pits, open gym, games, pizza, and lemonade!
Pre-registration discount is $18/child; our pre-registration discount ends at 11:59pm two days prior to your event. Register after the discount period for $22 online or at the door. Online registration ends one hour before the start time of the event.
